LAWN CARE SERVICES

THE GOAL OF OUR LAWN CARE SERVICES is TO USE ORGANIC PRACTICES THAT FEED THE SOIL and CREATE A STRONGER, HEALTHIER GRASS PLANT.

OUR METHOD

All our programs seek to use progressively less pesticides and nitrogen as the treatment plans progress. Completely organic options are available, including a full season of organic fertilization provided over 5 visits at no additional charge. Our 100% plant based product adds vital living microbes to the soil as well as using an organic based compost tea.

OUR APPROACH

Our approach improves the way your lawn takes up nutrients while aiding the lawn to resist insects, disease and weed encroachment. This results in a lawn with a rich green color, healthier plants and soil, and less environmental impact. Core aeration and over seeding are also important parts of the program and are recommended to be performed on an annual basis.

CORE AERATION SERVICES

Aeration

This cultural practice enhances root growth by alleviating compaction and adding oxygen into the root zone among many other benefits. Aeration should be done once a season.

OVER-SEEDING

Core aeration, over-seeding and an application of seed-starter fertilizer helps to create a denser, healthier, more uniform stand of grass.

Aeration and Overseeding

When it comes to relieving compressed soil and allowing for stronger root growth, lawn aerations are a powerful solution.

In this technique, thousands of tiny holes are taken out of your lawn, creating pockets that encourage root growth, and also serve as growing pockets for new seed. These holes allow moisture to pass to the root system, allowing your lawn to obtain more nutrients to thrive.

Lawn aeration is a preferable alternative to dethatching a lawn, a process that consists of using a machine that rakes out the dead grass blades from your lawn. This is dangerous for your lawn because the dethatching process often damages the crown of the plant, leading to more dead grass. Aeration not only dethatches your lawn safely, but it also provides the dead grass that isn’t removed a place to decompose, delivering nutrients to the turf’s root system.

When combined with overseeding, aerating leads to a more dense turf, and more grass growing chokes out weeds and other unwanted grass varieties.
